• Provided advice, knowledge and solutions to frontline technical support engineers for Compaq’s Consumer products division.

• Scored +90% avg. on BETA WIN95 TSE courses – Tools used : MS TechNet, Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, WIN95 Resource Kit.

• Team wise, I helped increase call volume by taking over problem calls, freeing the primary agents to help new callers.

1989–1994 Egghead Software Inc. Phil/NJ District

Part Time Sales – Assistant Manager

Started as a Part Time Sales Rep and was promoted to Assistant Manager. Duties included software sales and customer support. I enhanced my software knowledge in accordance with Egghead’s strong training ideals, as well as familiarizing myself with various programming languages including BASIC, C/C++ and VISUAL BASIC. I learned a great deal about dealing with people and solving problems while working in this environment. I was promoted to Assistant Manager of the Cherry Hill, NJ store. Assistant Manager Duties included management of employees (6), software and some hardware sales, as well as the creative merchandising of product. I also handled the bulk of tech support for my store, as well as some of the more exotic and interesting problems from around the district.
