If you have a poem you think belongs on this page please read the following guidelines before submitting it:
Read a few of the poems I have written, especially The Hunt, Ship, DNA & Incantation Faire.
I am looking for timeless, multifaceted poems that have layers of meaning and substantial depth; Pricless gems of uncommon clarity and radiance.
Submitted poems should be short but sweet, preferably 20-40 lines for greater impact.
Please submit only one poem per month as this affords more folk a fair share of my time.
All works must be submitted by the original author and should include copyright & Email information
Poems will be added to this page only because I like them and because they emphasize the character of this site. Just because I do not accept a poem does not mean that it is not good, or that I did not enjoy it, but rather because I feel it does not closely match the tone that I am striving for this site to have.

Content...
Content in my discontent
I would love secretly
fearing the
pain
of rejection.
Better, I thought
to fantasize
than to face the
possibility
of rejection.
Then, one day
I found a love
my
boundless dreams
could not contain.
I cast aside my fears
bared my
soul
and gave my heart...
Rejected.
I may love again
but only in
dreams
and be content
in my discontent.

Desire & Trepidation
I stand at the ocean
amazed by the power.
Frozen and helpless,
I hopelessly cower
I’ve tasted the coolness;
I thirst now for more-
One toe in the water,
Nine more on the shore.

IMPOSSIBLE
UNFOLD THE POWERS OF SADNESS.
REGRET THE
POWER OF LOVE.
DIVIDE THE SEAMS OF A LAUGH.
COMPLETE THE WORK OF A
FOOL.
NEVERMIND THE CRIES OF PAIN.
PERCEIVE THE OPTIONS OF THE
MIND.
TEAR AT THE SOUL OF A COWARD.
MINGLE WITH THE POWERS OF
NATURE.
CONFISCATE THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
REBEL AGAINST THE WORLD.
SKETCH
A MAP OF THE UNIVERSE.
SCRIBE THE RULES OF LIFE.
EXPLORE THE REASONS OF
MADNESS.
FREE YOURSELF FROM THE NOISE OF DISTURBANCE.
SILENCE THE WINDS OF
THOUGHT.
CRUMBLE THE STONE OF STRENGTH.
SWING THE PENDULUM OF
LIFE.
CRAVE THE CRAVINGS OF THE LONELY.
RANT THE RAVINGS OF THE
MAD.
RECEIVE AN HONOR, GIVE ANOTHER.
BECOME THE PERSON YOU WANT TO
BE.
REMEMBER YOUR LIFE.
REMEMBER YOUR
DEATH.
